Blog: 126 How to turn unforeseen changes to your day’s plans into a positive occasion.

If a plan for your day changes, try to see it as an opportunity to prove to yourself that you can turn your negative mind set into a positive mind set in an instant, because you’re very mature and you’re loving your life, so this is an opportunity for a challenge.

E.G. This morning a friend of mine was going to come to hang out with me, but her young daughter isn’t feeling very well, so she’s staying with her – which of course is the right thing to do.

I felt a bit down about it for a minute, because I was really looking forward to seeing her, but then I thought I should and could make the most of the extra time I have to myself by using it to communicate to you guys. I love writing almost as much as I love my friend – so I’ve proved to myself that I can turn sad feelings into positive actions.

If something bad has happened to change your plans, pray to God that things heal and improve – I promise you God exists, I very briefly met him when I had a serious accident when a car hit me at 50 miles an hour. So if you talk to God and you’re a lovely person good can come out of unforeseen experiences – such as now I’ve created this community site, where I can talk to you and you can message me, if you have any spare time.

If you have more time to yourself than you were expecting, you could always tackle your possibly ever growing to do list – once that’s been tackled that should put a smile on your face.

Try to see and feel a let down as a challenge, you’ll come out a stronger person from your unforeseen circumstances if you do.
