Blog: 207 Don’t look back - you’re not going that way

Mary Engelbreit once said - “Don’t look back – you’re not going that way”.

She made a good point right!

The only time you should ever look back is to see how far you’ve come.

If you’re facing hard times in your life right now (most of us are, “gutted hey!”), because you might be discovering disappointments, promises broken, you have regrets, and your life dreams might have been forgotten.

If this sounds like you, to help you to get out of feeling bad about your past times when things were crap for you – you should set yourself some goals. Pretend it is New Year’s Eve and set yourself some resolutions - this should help you to plant hopes and make promises to yourself. Such as saying to yourself “I will be happy by living the dreams I know I can do and that I want to be part of my wonderful life. It’s wonderful because I make cool things happen in my life”.

This is all in the effort to experience a difference in your life.

Achieving your goals will be an adventure you’ll experience. Happy times will be had while you’re on your life adventure.

There are some situations when all you can do is simply let go and move on. When this happens gather your courage and choose a direction that takes you to a new dawn.

Yes, the process of change can be tough, but think about your new life adventure and the good times ahead.

To help you feel good, if having a boogie to music is your thing that puts a smile on your face, listen and groove to:

While you’re on your life adventure your dreams might come true – I expect they will because you’ve learnt from your mistakes – ‘GO ‘ENJOYING LIFE’ YOU’!

If you and your closest friends believe that the decisions you’ve made are right for you, take each step day-by-day and don’t look back - you’re not going that way!
