To create a positive outlook in your life, you should want and start behaving as if you have an uplifting and unserious way of being in your day-to-day and long-term life. This is so that not only will you be happy to be on your own sometimes, but also so that others will want to hang out with you.
Don’t say anything to yourself that you wouldn’t say to anyone else. Always be gentle and encouraging with yourself. If a negative thought enters your mind, evaluate it rationally and then think or say your affirmations out loud, that make you feel like one of life’s winners.
Your affirmations should include you saying what is good about you. Out loud thank yourself and others for having things in your life that you are grateful for. You could be grateful for a person’s kindness they’ve shown you. Plus, for someone making you smile / laugh - so you haven’t felt so stressed out or upset about things in your life.
Really focus on what you’re thankful for to improve your positive outlook. Each day write down or think of a few things you appreciate about your life in general or what has happened that day that has put a smile on your face.
Optimists always think what is the best that could happen to them in different situations.
Pessimists focus on the worst that could happen. Be an optimist because you can.
For you to be an optimist (which I’m sure you want to be), focus on the best that could happen to you. When you become an optimist, you’ll find you have a lot more energy each day – you’ll also have the internal healthily happy vibes ‘endorphins’ rushing through your system. You’ll feel very proud of yourself and elated that you’re you – you’re great just the way you are.
