Blog: 254 Please help to stop animals & forests in the wild becoming extinct

Orangutans, Elephants, Tigers, and forests are at risk of not existing anymore.

The Orangutan Project has a ‘Theory of Change’

Why It Matters

Shrinking forests, poaching, and human-wildlife conflict is putting many species at risk. Disenfranchised communities, competing for limited forest resources, also face growing conservation challenges.

To secure healthy wildlife populations and empowered communities, we must tackle these issues head-on.

What It Does

Our Theory of Change outlines:

  • The problems we must solve

  • The actions we are taking

  • The impact we expect in the short, medium, and long term.

By following this plan, we ensure real, measurable change for both wildlife and people.

Here’s how I do, and you can help save species on Earth:

I’m not the wealthiest girl at the mo, so I’ve stopped buying Nicotine supplements to be able to afford to donate £15.00 a month to help to feed a rescued orangutan, a diet of healthy fruits and vegetables a week. https://www.orangutan.org.uk/donate

Also, I feel it’s important to not leave out helping to save trees. Because lots of animals need them to live on or around & we need them to produce oxygen. So, I’m donating £10.00 a month to protect the Bukit Tigapuluh Ecosystem. Please check out how to donate to this very important cause too, by clicking on the link.
