Blog: 252 Beings who need your support - please help them asap

Lots of beings need support on Earth - don’t you think?

I used to give to loads of charities (online) that it left me quite skint a lot of the time. So, I had to reduce them to 10 charities who I donate to each: month or week.

Choosing who to stop donating to was very a tough task to do.

It made me cry, because I felt like a mean person when I chose which charities to continue to donate to = those beings that I thought were more in need out of all the charities I supported.

I’m talking about kids, adults, animals who are struggling for a number of reasons:

·      Health problems

·      Big problems in the country they live in - such as wars happening

·      Homelessness

I could continue, but the list of problems beings need support with is endless.

Recently 3 charities have made me open up my online money wallet and donate to them monthly. If I have to go without buying something as lush, but expensive Red bull (fizzy very sweet drink) for a while, so be it.

Please look into these 3 charities and hopefully you can afford to either do a one-off donation or donate every: month or week to them. I donate to some charities every month, because these problems aren’t going away, so ongoing support is needed.

1)    ORBIS - this charity is a: ‘Flying Eye Care Hospital’. They go to children around the world, whose family can’t afford to get them to a hospital. If it wasn’t for the urgent sight-saving surgery treatment kids receive from ORBIS, many children on Earth would never be able to see their family etc.

2)    World Animal Protection - please go on their website to see / read about the work they’re doing for wildlife (elephant calves are in danger) and farming (factory farming is inflicting cruelty on billions of animals.

3)    The Salvation Army - the support they give to people who are vulnerable & suffering, is: passionate, practical & tireless. Their work cannot be sustained by their compassion & enthusiasm. They need resources to give practical help to desperate people. Please visit their website to find out about how they help people survive when their life is tough.

Even if you can only afford a few quid, or 50 pence, please donate however much you can afford to do without. Every penny counts when beings are suffering - I hope you agree with me on this point.
