If something makes you feel very happy to be alive and excited just thinking about it – ‘go get em!’ - Do your thing(s) to make it happen for you & or those you love.
If it’s a new thing for you - remember ‘There’s a first time for everything’.
This goes for all of us humans.
New experiences are rather exciting (so long as they’re legal), don’t you think?
I could be talking about you doing many things e.g. dancing, doing a marathon, or you going to a gym for the first time.
To be able to do anything (whether you’re a newbie or an old pro), you need to have self-belief.
To be give you the ‘get up and go!’ to start you believing in yourself, try thinking or being these ways:
Focus on building confidence and self-esteem by positively talking to yourself about yourself.
Set realistic goals that you know you can achieve by celebrating achievements you’ve already got.
Surround yourself with positive influences = people who are on your side and praise you. This should make you feel good about being you.
Practise self-compassion by taking any failures you’ve had as great learning opportunities.
Prioritise self-care to enhance overall well-being and self-worth.
Challenge negative thoughts by replacing any negative self-talk with positive affirmations and encouraging statements.
Focus on your strengths and accomplishments.
Be kind to yourself – treat yourself with the same compassion you would offer a friend of yours.
Embrace the journey of growth and learning….
…. Every day is a school day hey! If you let yourself listen to others rather than being a chatterbox (I am one of them – whoops). You’ll get respect from whomever is talking and you never know you might just learn something new, that you’ve never thought about before.
Love yourself – without having a huge ego about being you.
Love has to start at home – if you believe in you and love yourself – others will do the same about you.
