Blog: 215 Not happy with your appearance at the mo?

If you’re not happy with the way you look, find beautiful photos of you (come on, you know there are some).

Start with baby photos of you, looking happy to be alive on Earth. Right up to photos of you now – having a good laugh with your mates. Put them in frames somewhere close to you (such as on your bedroom walls).

Look at them and feel beautiful before you leave your house.


If you’re not happy with your body, perhaps because your diet hasn’t been the healthiest recently. So, you’ve put on some very unwanted pounds. Try these things:


·      Walk to most places you go to - such as to your job and to the supermarket.

·      Before you get washed and dressed every morning do as many sit ups as you can manage. Watch your belly become very slim and gorgeous.

·      Do a few light weights, if you can’t afford to buy weights start of by holing some tins of food.

·      When you walk up and down the stairs, get your posture as good as you can and let your bum feel the burn when you step up and down each step - do this as slowly as you can.

·      If you like having a snack - swap crisps & chocolate for nuts such as roasted & salted cashew nuts. Another good very healthy snack is carrot sticks dipped into humous.

·      Start some dance classes, to start you off you should join your local aerobics class. You might even make some new friends – who all have the same goal as you – to become gorgeous by losing weight.

·      Go get yourself a fab new haircut or style. You might want to look like your fav celebrity – you might not be able to have the same face as them, but you can have the same hairdo and wear the same kind of clothes as they do.


If you do these things as part of your new way of living, you’ll watch your weight come down and you’ll become happier - because you’ve achieved the thing you’ve been meaning to & that you’ve wanted to do for ages.
