Blog: 183 – How to be the best you in your present time every day.

Hopefully, you rather like who you are, because you think, feel, and know you’re a rather: nice, fun, kind, and happy person to spend time with every day.

If you do like yourself, but you struggle to feel happy & productive etc in your life each day, because you have self-doubt and you possibly have anxiety.

To help you overcome this try out writing and saying to yourself: daily affirmations at the start of each day.

An affirmation if a sentence of powerful words that you put together for you.

Words that are a positive statement about yourself, how you like to get your stuff done and whom you like to be.

This sentence is aimed to tap into your conscious and unconscious mind to motivate you, to challenge you and to push you to reach your full potential in life.

Once you’ve written them, practice affirming yourself every day. Do this by following these steps:

1)    Start with 3 to 5 minutes at least twice a day. Try saying your affirmations upon waking up and when you get into bed. A great start and end to your day.

2)    Repeat each affirmation about 10 times.

3)    Trust a loved one - to help you to get up in time each day, so you can do them before you go out for the day and to help you to remember your affirmations.

4)    Make your routine consistent.

5)    Be patient with yourself. If being patient doesn’t come naturally to you, try to do a meditation first thing each day. This will put your mind in a calm and patient state of being.

If you do this each day, you’ll - promote your self-confidence and belief in your own abilities. They will direct your focus toward your strengths – those you already have and those you want to develop.

Do they work?

They generally work as a tool for shifting your mindset and achieving your goals, but they might not instantly heal you if you are an anxious person.

The best and easiest to remember affirmation is “I am enough”. You can and should repeat this to yourself whenever you’re feeling down or you’re struggling with self-doubt.

If you have anxiety, don’t worry you’re not alone with this one. Most people experience a feeling of fear or unease in their lifetime – this is anxiety.

Your daily affirmations will etch it onto your brain how great you are at whatever your skill(s) and passion(s) are in your life. I’ve been taught since I was a child that if I want to remember something I should repeat saying whatever it is out loud 10 times, the brain will struggle not to have it etched onto itself.

Remember practice makes perfect. Practice repeating the things you long to and need to know - remember repeat saying it 10 times each day. Try to make them be part of your daily affirmations. I bet you’ll become who you want to be and achieve everything you want to, if you make doing daily affirmations be a part of your life every day.

You’ll be the best you in each of your present moments - if you give this technique a go. I bet you’ll love how much happier you’ll feel every day.
