Whatever or whenever something has happened in your life - no matter how big or small it might sound or feel to other people - it must have happened for a reason. Even if you don't like it, once you've stopped feeling upset and stressed out, try to think about the difference to your life it might or might not be making to them.
If there is a difference to your life, try to think of the advantages because of it happening - because as the old saying goes 'every cloud has a silver lining'.
If you are trying to get something done, or find a material thing or a wise thing in your mind, but you're struggling, try to remember that perseverance and patience with yourself and others really help you to sort things out. If you have patience with your feelings about most things in your life, this will help you to believe that you'll get over a thing that might have upset you a lot and you'll possibly see that things will be better because of it happening.
For example me. I've always loved being a chatterbox who has loads of friends who turn to me for advice and to make them laugh, plus I also love writing. I always wanted to spend a lot of my time doing it, but because I'd been trapped as many of us have by the thought that I should have a conventional well paid job and be part of a large company to have succeeded in my life. So I was the internal communications manager for a rather large bank, I did like it and I was successful at it, but I wasn't getting to help people get through things in their personal life and help them to laugh at the kind of things I find funny. Then because of a very serious accident I had that involved being hit by a car at 50 miles an hour, I've had to take several years off. Now I feel and I'm sure this happened for a reason - to be able to live each of my days being who I am and who I want to be - a successful writer, who helps bring people together to get rid of loneliness in their life. This community website came into my head to start to run and write for, to help people to feel part of something where they are not bombarded by products they are trying to be sold.
So I believe my accident happened for a good reason, to let me be who I truly am, try to feel and believe that everything in your life has happened for a reason, this should help you to feel positive about things in your life.
